Cheating is a fundamental part of this game. Even the original computer game's documentation it lists the most popular way to get rid of 'The Shitter' is 'hiding it under another card'.
This ticket will be finished after the game AI and personality AI tickets are both finished.
The computer players should be allowed to cheat, cheat each other, and of course, the human player. Human players should also be allowed to cheat and have an equal chance at getting caught. Cheating abilities (both the ability to successfully cheat and the ability to catch a cheater) should be dependent on the personality of the particular AI. Some people are better at cheating in real life, after all.
Suggested methods of cheating in our game:
. throwing a card off the table / up sleeve
. discarding more than one card at a time
. tossing a card into someone else's hand (this could get into players working together to win or keep others in the game!)
. discarding a card that doesn't match the current discard
. taking/giving too many/few cards when drawing
...
