I have discovered the other two people who have shown the most interest in 
the learning team, and confirmed they are both on the mailing list.  Those 
two are Bryan Maymihan, and Michael Collins, that I am referring to 
specifically if they want to join in on the learning group.

For this initial stage, it will only be useful for programmers.  In the 
Winter quarter when we start the learning group, there will be some 
explaination about how the art was created for the game, but probably not 
much since I realized Chuck can draw, so maybe we won't have shitty-arse 
art in the initial version ;).  Anyways we will go over file formats, 
sizes, and magic pink, but nothing too extreme for you Photoshopers.
