Hallo everybody, some days ago I installed the new Endian firewall on a P4 1.7GHz computer. The firewall has 2 uplinks, one ith a static ip and the otherone with a dynamic ip. I tried to get dynsdns running, when I force an update on the webgui I can see an entry (sudo: nobody : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/home/httpd/cgi-bin ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/usr/local/bin/setddns.pl -f 2) in the systemlog, but without result. The ip isn't updated at dyndns.org, but in the temp-File the correkt ip is stored. I tried another dynamic dns provider (no-ip.org), with the same behavier. I read the Howto page and also used google, I added the patch on the script "setddns.pl." with no effect on the update. So could you please help me with that problem. Did anyoune use dynamic ip with dyndns on a firewall with 2 uplinks? Is there maybe a problem with the 2 uplinks? But in his temp-file he stores the correkt ip but never changed it on dyndns or no-ip. Thanks for any help and sorry for my terrible english, I didn't used it for a while. Greats / Best regards Thorsten |
