Hello. I sent a fax today, but the log had a zlib error in line 3. Can you tell what it means?

It looks as if there is something amiss with your ghostscript installation, which is used to convert the postscript file to tiff g3 image format for the fax modem. Possibly you haven't got zlib installed, or the wrong version installed for your ghostscript installation.
It doesn't look in this case as if it was fatal.

efax-gtk doesn't use zlib, but it looks as if your version of ghostscript does (although there should be no reason to do so to convert between postscript and tiff g3). The best version to use is the one which comes with your distribution, which looks as if it might have a minor bug on the point.
If the fax sends OK, I should forget it.

Which zlib do you recommend? development? -dev? -dbg? -raw-pearl?
