This project is a sampler aimed to be triggered by e-drums. Additionaly it can be used to program drum parts as a plugin in various notation/sequencing/recording platforms (e.g. rosegarden, qtractor, ardour etc.).

Hi John,

This project is currently not active. I can hardly find time to continue it on my own and the code you find here is totally incomplete. I will try to find a config file and upload it.

However, there is a project called drumgizmo (www.drumgizmo.org), which has a similar perspective with edrummer. Instead of splitting forces for the same purpose, I decided to join drumgizmo and try to produce the best outcome. Features of both projects will be merged. The guys there have done an excellent job and the project is totally active. If you are interested in edrumming, take your time to skip through both projects' wiki and see what features exist and what will be available and if there is something missing that you would need.
