#13 Ability to add buttons on the fly

I would love to be able to add buttons on the fly.. at any point in programming... or at least be able to add buttons not from the plugins directory. It would be great to include a file that had a button config, and be able to pass that button object to the editor myself, rather than having the editor load the buttons from a preset location.
