For version 0.8.1.1 and Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP, if you set the editor to open in fullscreen, "fullscreen: true", then you do not see the blinking cursor.
The cursor seems to be invisible. You can type and move the cursor, you but you will not be able to see the cursor.
This does not appear to be an issue on Internet Explorer.
