In FF3.5.2 (Windows XP), the toggle_full_screen option causes the editor to be as wide as the window or frame in which it's embedded, but no more than 9 lines high. this may be true of other versions, but I have not tested that.
It looks like the problem is worse in IE7, where I just get a javascript error.
Safari works fine.
I have ran EditArea 0.8.1.1 (and older versions) just fine in FireFox 3.5.2 (WinXP) and IE7/IE8 when in full screen mode, and do not see any limits regarding the number f lines as you mention... Can you check your installation, or test on the live examples page?
As for pixelchute, this work for me (quick tested in FF3.5.2 && IE8).
Please give more information if you can reproduce this bug on exemple page
I get the same ERROR: Using Firefox 3.6.12 and EditArea 0.8.2 AND 0.8.1.1 (same result).
