Technically, this is not a bug - the Readme states you need to download the Visual Studio 2015 Runtimes to use 3DGE now (since we moved from MinGW since 2.0,0). Those can be found here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Install that and please let me know if you are able to run the program! =)
