#3 edge-1.35 doesn't compile on Linux 3.x 64-bit

I have successfully built edge-1.35 from source on openSUSE 11.4 32-bit which was Linux 2.6.
However, I've now moved to LinuxMint 13 64-bit which is Linux 3.x, and it does not compile.
Do you now support 64-bit? Do you now support Linux 3.x? If no to either of these questions,
do you have any immediate plans to do so?
