Have any of you ever played ZDoomGL The smoothing effects in it are terrific
How about trying to put in some enhanced graphical features like that like that
Plus an option to smooth those sharp edges

Actually EDGE already supports HQ2X scaling (http://www.hiend3d.com/hq2x.html), witch improves texture and sprite quality very much
