#96 Idea For Multiplayer

I know right now multiplayer is being worked on and I
am pretty sure you said LAN would come first, I think
there should be a two player splitscreen feature so
two people on one computer can play edge. This would
also be good for mod developers to test out their wad
with multiplayer to make sure it works correctly.
There should be a menu for setting up player 2
controls and you could (optionally) try to work on a
basic joystick controller code using dinput or
something to allow player 2 to use a joystick or a
gamepad, and have a menu to set up Axis/Buttons.

You are right that this would be handy
for mod developers to test their wads.

However, the DOOM Legacy port already
provides split-screen multiplayer and I'm
not that interested in adding this feature
to EDGE.
