EDGE crashes as it starts when it tries to load your new
EDGE title theme music, throwing up an error box with
"[oggplayer_c::StreamIntoBuffer] Failed: Unknown Ogg
Error.". It runs fine when I use the -nomusic command line
switch. (Well, other than some really bad distortion which I
assume is caused by using the latest cvs version of
Humidity).

This is on Linux with a version compiled from the latest cvs
checkout (on 7/11/2005) using edge.wad from
edge-wad-3.5d.zip.

    Like I said, the SFX code is being heavily modified still,
    and it's possible you're compiling a semi-functional version
    at the moment. Wait a bit more :)

    What Lobo said.

    In the meantime, try checking out the version
    for 2005-06-06 (using the -D option), using the
    same edge.wad (3.5d).

    Works for me using the latest CVS.

    Glad it works for you Jim (and that it wasn't
    something specific to your system).
