Hi,I've installed Remastery EDE Ubuntu 12.04 and i really like the desktop manager. Recently I've upgraded to Ubuntu 14.10 and would like to test out the latest EDE 2.1. So far it's really hard for me to as I always some issues with compiling from source. Have anyone have latest EDE 2.1 package for Ubuntu ? Thanks, I think EDE has great potential but for many newbie users like me, I found that download/installation is massive hurdle.

Hi Sanel, do you know anyone have already packed the EDE and EDElib into Deb packages ready to be installed for Ubuntu?
It'd be so much easier for normal users like me ( i don't see any reason why we should not do this, as troubleshooting compiling issues for every single new users is much harder than having an already working package ready for download )

Just got a mail from Michael, a really nice guy that is in charge with wiki content and packages. As he notified me, there are Ubuntu packages but there are some issues with them.
I'll assume he will got them running soon.
