You do, just downgrade your tix, as discribed on the eddi webpage
(http://eddi.sf.net) and in the readme file, as far as I know, there is no
important impovement in the tix that came with 8.0 compared with 7.3, or at
least not that important that it justifies not being able to run your favo
editor anymor (unless when you are a tix developer maybe ;-))
