Hello,
for those interested in the plugin system, the basics work :-D
Plugins are now detected in the subdirs plugins of eddi and ~/.eddi/
You can load (and unload, if available in the plugin) plugins and the
interface actutally does something.
I've included a sample plugin, it doesn't do anything really, but you can
see it works.
There are still some small things that have to be changed though: the
autloading state of the plugins has to be saved to ~/.eddi/plugins
The autoloaded plugins should be autoloaded ;-)
the ok button should get it's proc
the add button should give the ability to select plugins in other dirs
than ~/.eddi and the eddi dir
there should be a plugins_eval proc that evaluates the proc names in the
list vars I've been talking about when the plugins_eval is called from
within procs in eddi (eg to let plugins execute actions when something
happens).
This will be for tomorrow, or the day after or...
I hope to have the plugins system completely working by the end of next
week.
Greets,
Jan
