[Eddi-devel] Eddi 1.0rc2 + SuSE 8.0 problems

Hello,

I've released a 1.0rc2, it includes some bugfixes, but I mainly released
it for the reame file containing the following:

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SUSE 8.0 USERS!
SuSE 8.0 comes with a version of tix that seams to be corrupted, it causes
a
startup error that can not be recovered, you should uninstall tix and get
the
version of suse 7.3 to get it working again, you can download this at:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/7.3/suse/tcl1/tix.rpm
or at:
ftp://ftp.belnet.be/mirror/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/7.3/suse/tcl1/tix.rpm

I'm not yet 100% sure if the problem is due to suse's tix or due to tix
itself (I'll have to download a new version from the tix site and compile
it), I'll check that later.
Btw, I'm not ill anymore, but I'm still terribly tired if I do to much, so
tired that I fall asleep. This means that I can't go to school and won't
have to do my exams (legally you only have to do them 2 times, normally
it's once at
christmas, once at easter and once at the end of the year, if you have a
good excuse (that is: the doctors writes a letter that you are not
capable, and believe me, I am not), you only have to do them 2 of the 3
times). This is terribly bad, because I won't
see most of my friends till the end of the year (at the end of the year,
I'll see them 1 day), and next year I'm going to another school. But this
is also fantastic, since now, I will finally have some time to code on
eddi, I think I am able to work 2-3 hours, maybe 4 a day on it, so that's
nice.
