I am behind an authenticating proxy and I can't get ed2k_gui to
fetch the server list.
Please add authenticating support (the way wget does in
/etc/wgetrc)
I am running on SuSE with the ed2k-gtk-gui-0.5.99-1 RPM
I'm very reluctant to add support for this, and have no proxy
avaiable and ready to test it if I did implement proxy
authentication (and I'm not going to install and configure a proxy
just to implement this).
Patches are always welcome of course... :-)
I would rather recommend the following however:
wget -O - <url> | cat ~/.ed2k_gui/pipe
so that you get the server list of your choice via wget, and then
just dump all the output into the GUI's pipe, which should
hopefully parse it correctly (no probs with ed2k-links, not 100%
sure about server.met files though).
