i use more than one extern remote clients and have to type in the IPs, logins, etc. manual every day. I miss the feature to save Connection-data for more than one remote server...

Start ed2k-gtk-gui with the -n command line option, e.g.:
ed2k_gui -n 2
ed2k_gui -n 3
then the options will be saved in different files ("profiles") that correspond to the number.
I don't think 'profiles' are a common-enough usage scenario to support it on the GUI level. Just create short cuts on the desktop to run ed2k_gui with the appropriate command line option.
