Need a mechanism to link to resources in subdir

As pointed out in the bug 1489681 , it is necessary to
link to resources in a subdir that is relative to the
current resource, and independent of the root eclipse
resources like project names. I have a suggestion: use
the FitNesse (http://www.fitnesse.org) notation:
^FooBar links to something inside the dir FooBar
So, maybe ^MyImages.foo.gif coule link to
./MyImages/foo.gif?
In other words, the "." after ^WikiWord gets replaced
with "/" internally (because you know ^WikiWord is a
dir) but not the others (foo.gif does not become
foo/gif internally).
This is just an initial suggestion. You may want to
investigate FitNesse better to come up with a better
solution.

See http://www.fitnesse.org/FitNesse.SubWiki , it talks
about subdirs etc
