I'm under Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1. The architecture is 32 bit. I have 3 GB of RAM and 2 processors (Core Duo).
I just downloaded Eclipse Classic 4.2.1 and installed on my Windows machine NSIS 2.46. I also installed in Eclipse Classic the updates EclipseNSIS (through "Help" > "Install New Software..." (http://eclipsensis.sourceforge.net/update)) and also, as requested in the manual, downloaded inside Eclipse Classic the addon "Eclipse GEF" (http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/updates/releases/).
EclipseNSIS shows all the icons to start new projects (File > New > Other > EclipseNSIS > Install Options Script (and also NSIS Script) but I can't complete any of those wizards... did I do something wrong? Please give me some light.
Thanks for the very cool software. Cheers from Brazil.
I would like to confirm this bug:
* Fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit.
* Eclipse Juno Service Release 2. 20130225-0426
I can see view and edit files, set preferences. However when I attempt to compile, nothing happens.
If I manually complile NSIS script from the command prompt, it works.
I am also having the same symptoms on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit fresh install on a different machine.
If there anything I can do to assist with the diagnosis, please ask. I unfortunately am not very skilled in Java, but am a developer.
EclipseNSIS is a great package. Thankyou.
To work around this problem, I deleted my eclipse folder and then down loaded and installed the package called Eclipse Classic 4.2.2.
Then I installed EclipseNSIS using the Eclipse Update Manager and it worked !
Thanks for all the hints Pal. Will try them at home and then will let you know. ;-)
