You can't open or close projects from within the Silverlight perspective. These options are disabled on the Project menu, and they do not appear on the context menu within the Silverlight Project Explorer. The only way to open or close projects is from another perspective that lists Silverlight projects.

I mentioned in my other bug report that the filter settings are inaccessible because the View Menu does not open. It appears that the filter is hardcoded to not display closed projects. Users should be able to configure the filter settings, as I said in my other report, but also it's usual not to filter out closed projects by default. Closed projects must be visible to be opened.

    It could be considered as Bug. But it is an expected behavior. We can make the improvement in the next release.

    Yes, the filter is not implemented. The project explorer provides a direct view defined in csproj file. It is not a view of file resources. If this feature is important, please fill a request:
