When using the compare with predecessor option, the predecessor appears on the right hand side. That seems backwards, and is opposite from the way the Clearcase diff tool works running when running in clearcase explorer or the version tree. Something similar happens when using the Clearcase History tab. The newer version is on the left, and the older version is on the right.
