#16 pusb-linux update for 2.5 &co

An update so that pusb-linux is correct for the 2.5
kernel and fix a couple of assumptions made about the
2.4 kernel.

comments should provide details of the updates and the
reasons for the updates.

Sorry for not posting the patch I kinda vanished off the face
of the earth for a while.

Anyhow, I've just checked and the latest version of the
source (0.10 from cvs) will compile with 2.6 headers and 2.4
headers.
