Hi, I downloaded the latest version of ECB (2.32) and tried to install it in a linux FC4 machine. I unpacked the tar.gz file and included the path to that directory in my .emacs file. (add-to-list 'load-path "~/.emacs.d/ecb-2.32/") (require 'ecb) On starting emacs, it asks : "ECB requires semantic [1.4, 1.4.9] and eieio [0.17, 0.17.9] and speedbar [ 0.14beta1, 0.15.9]. Download now? (yes or no)" After I answer yes, it tries downloading the packages, but fails with this error : Error in init file: error: "ECB 2.32 - Error: No matching versions available for semantic at http://ftp1.sourceforge.net/cedet/." I can access the internet from my machine using wget. Can anybody offer me any help on how to get this resolved ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ganesh |
