Swap the .c and .h files. >.h files always insert something, .c files rarely do with the default >settings. well, i swapped c and h file but what should i say, it works perfectly. I opend klaus.c, then i created unextsing klaus.h via C-x C-f and then in the buffer klaus.h the following has been inserted: #ifndef _:/HOME/KLAUS.H #define _:/HOME/KLAUS.H XX #endif wheras XX stands for point-position. In the echo-area "Loading = skeleton... done" is displayed. So because in my envirnoment (yes, i have started Emacs via emacs -q -no-sit-file ;-) it seems to work (using a CVS emacs precompiled in early January 2005) my plea again, please describe exactly what is running wrong for you: Which behavior do you have encountered? In which buffer which text was automatically inserted?? Thanks a lot, Klaus |
