Hermes documentationWe only published install and develop guides. We = agree that to understand a software product is not easy without detailed = documentation. We want to work on that, but development is our first = priority. Meanwhile, we try our best to answer all questions on the = mailng lists. :-) For your question, the registration is persistent, even Hermes is = restarted. If the listener shuts down, and then re-registers with the = same parameters, Hermes will deliver all undelivered messages to the = listener, including those messages received during the down time of the = listener. We have an unregister function in Request object, which is the only way = to make Hermes forget about the listener. Discovering the ins and outs of Hermes is quite a = journey. In particular, if a listener registers with a running instance of = Hermes, how long does that registration last? Can anybody register as a = listener if a password is used? (It seems so.)
