Yes it can be done. I can send you zip file with our code. It is now in
a separate package but I think it can be integrated to the release. 
It is a reader of CPAs from Reg/Rep and/or file system.
I can send you more details if you like to. It has GPL license so there
is no problem with integration. You can use just part of it.
