Dear DW,

We are going to package the patches we have made in 
the last six months and release hermes 1.0.0.1 next 
week.

I just tried to download the patches you have 
contributed and see if I can get it into the main
trunk. Unfortunately, I found that it quite difficult
to diff your updated source code and the current
source code we have in the CVS (somehow there are
some whitespace addition/deletion so that many
lines look different to diff). Do you have a 
summary of the changes so that I can refer to?
