[ebxmlms-general] Monitoring hermes database and conversations?

This may be a stupid question, but how are people monitoring their hermes
systems in production to make sure they are working well?

We monitor the process listings to ensure the process is running and 'ping'
the url to get the 'Hermes is alive message' which is okay from a basic
persepective.

But as far as business document conversation monitoring is concerned, we are
logging into the msh database and doing sql. 

Yes we have monitoring of the document handling outside of hermes, but we
want more.

Is there a better way?  A web app for instance I don't know about?
