I am sorry that I cannot find out the cause of the problem, since it is 
okay for me to send signed message using Monitor.
Here is my steps to create keystore:

keytool -genkey -keystore test.keystore -alias bob

and then use same password for keystore and key.
Then the message is sent out successful using Monitor with "bob" as alias.

Maybe if you can, please attach more information on how you test it so 
that I can find out the problem.
