I tried Tomcat 4.0.6 with JDK 1.3.1, still no luck.<br>
No problem with JDK1.4 .. will continue to investigate.<br>

I can repeat your problem... I found that this problem is related to
tomcat 4.1.24 and JDK 1.3.1 and their class loaders. The exact cause is
still under investigation.<br>

Could you try to use Tomcat 4.0.6 or JDK 1.4? It should solve the
problem.<br>
