Be careful for some engines (notably crafty) use some temporary files for things like learning tables, and multiple crafties running with the same working directory may break each other. if you mean playing multiple games on FICS, eboard does not support simuls (yet), which is the only way to play multiple games on FICS with a single connection (see 'help simuls' on the server), but xboard supports it. I don't know whether Knights and Jin support it. If you don't mind playing unrated, you can always launch multiple eboards, connect each as a guest and play one game with each. .........................................................................
