Hmm...what I saw with debug=2 is somewhat strange.

First ebayAgent retrieved the page describing the article starting approx. 5 
minutes before the planed bidding time about 20 times, which makes some sense 
to catch clock skrew.

The last response I got was

$ cat /tmp/eBayAgent-3130-24
501 (Not Implemented) Protocol scheme 'https' is not supported
Client-Date: Wed, 13 Oct 2004 15:59:13 GMT

Does anybody know, if I just need to install a perl-something module and 
ebayagent is fine again?
