Hi Hans! You might want to try esniper from "http://esniper.sourceforge.net". Since i couldn't rely on eBayAgent during the last days i needed to find a working replacement and had good results with this tools - so far. esniper lacks all the bells and whistles offered by eBayAgent and merely counts down until it finally bids. But that's actually all i need... ;-) Hopefully it doesn't break as well... For Debian people: http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial/binary/esniper_2.8.1-0.0_i386.deb http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial/binary/esniper_2.8.1-0.0_i386.changes http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial/source/esniper_2.8.1-0.0.diff.gz http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial/source/esniper_2.8.1-0.0.dsc http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial/source/esniper_2.8.1.orig.tar.gz or simply via apt-get: deb http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial ./ deb-src http://ietpd1.sowi.uni-mainz.de/debian/unofficial ./ Thanks, P. *8^) On Sat, Oct 09, 2004 at 08:24:58PM +0200, Hans Grapenthin wrote: > Hi Michel > > installed eBayAgent 0.9.9 - it works, but ebay seems to send wrong > information.
