#37 Compiz effects not working
Annotate, Firepaint and Water effects do not work under Ubuntu Trusty (or mint 17).
I don't know much about the devlopment history of compiz, all I've noticed is that the bus/interface names have changed from those in the sources of easystroke (0.6.0), it's not org.freedesktop.compiz anymore, but org.compiz and /org/freedesktop/compiz/ -> /org/compiz/ But changing those in annotate.cc, firepaint.cc and water.cc doesn't restore the effects either. I guess a minor change must have occured in compiz that means these dbus calls don't work anymore.
My mistake, the effects work, I didn't know there was an option in compiz to enable/disable dbus. The effects work, the ticket can be closed, sorry.
