#23 Easystroke hangs, GTK errors

After defining the first gesture, easystroke becomes unresponsive, and its output on the terminal (when run from the terminal) is as follows:

(easystroke:9184): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_event: assertion `WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed

Platform: OpenSuSE 11.4-RC2, stock packages:
gtkmm 2.22.0-2.1
dbus-1 1.4.1-6.1
xorg-x11-driver-input 7.6-29.1
...and their corresponding -devel packages.
