This is a KDE 3.3-only release. It has an admin directory updated for KDE 3.3 and the option to hide the toolbar. If you don't need that feature, you should only upgrade if you have problems with easysok on a KDE 3.3 system.
This fixes a bug which showed up in KDE 3.3. One move of the keeper via the cursor keys resulted in two moves. Note that you should not update if you don't have that problem, because I could not check if this change breaks easysok on KDE 3.2.
This is just an very small update for compilation problems on gcc 3.3 and/or KDE 3.2 beta.
EasySok is a sokoban game for KDE. It is themeable, has a level editor and a solver, various import/export functions, a retro mode and other nice features. This is just a bugfix release for users of gcc 3.2. If you could compile EasySok 0.3.1, there is no need to switch to this new version.
This is mostly a modest bugfix release. It fixes issues when libmng isnot installed or easysok is not installed into the KDE directory. Also some performance improvements were made. Additionally the LOMA and Sasquatch VI collections were added.
This release drops KDE2 support and fixes bugs in the KDE3 version. Additionally there are some speed improvements and der MasMicroban collection from David W. Skinner was added.
This release fixes some really bad bugs (thanks to the anonymous bug submitter). One bug was in the gem drag routine. Another caused more than one selected collection in the menus. Also there were some bugs in the solver, which could crash EasySok. It's strongly recommended to update to this release!
First of all, a lot of bugs were fixed. The graphics of the themes are compressed mich better, which results in noticable smaller package sizes (and which maybe decreases the barrier to include EasySok in the kdegames package:). Additionally the usability of some themes was (hopefully) enhanced. A first (rough) german translation is available (not for the handbook). Illegal moves can now be treated as virtual moves.
This release allows you to send all your best solutions of a level, a collection or of all levels to the highscore server. It also (hopefully) fixes the problems when building the KDE3 version with a multithreaded Qt. A flicker problem with the KDE3 version is fixed. A problem with saving the last attempt was fixed. Added support for the regexp editor in the KDE3 version. Added a menu entry with the recently used collections. You can now draw 'lines' of elements in the editor instead of clicking multiple times. An option to send solutions of levels to the server, which are not older than a given date.
This fixes mostly a bug which can cause segmentation faults. The editor has been improved also.
This is the first version, where a KDE3 and KDE2 version is supplied. The most important new feature is, that you can now use a global highscore server, to send your best solutions to the server and compare your solutions with that of users. The solutions are now not only discriminated by the number of pushes and moves, but also by the number of linear pushes and gem changes (the number of times you moved a different gem). The now completed Picocosmos collection from Aymeric Du Peloux, the Grigr2001 collection from Evgeniy Grigoriev and 100 boxes collection from Fran347ois Marques were added. An option to automatically save the state (modified collections, solutions and bookmarks) in regular intervals was added, so you don't loose all you've done when EasySok crashes (which should not happen, of course). The level editor now has a (in my opinion) much better interface and does not block the main window anymore. The functions to create new levels and collections have been improved. Temporary collections are now marked accordingly and can be made non temporary. And, last not least, many, many bugfixes (see the ChangeLog file for the details).... read more
This one is mostly a bugfix release. See the Changelog file to get the details.
The relase rate of EasySok will be quite lower from now on, because most of the features I want are implemented.
The next (nonbugfixing) release will be 0.2 for KDE3 (I hope).
This release mainly fixes the corrupt
Sasquatch V collection. As an additional bonus
I've added basic functions to create random levels in the level editor. The automatical detection of newly installed collections should also be more robust now.
The collections from Franois Marques were added.
Five new levels of the Picocosmos collection were added and the new Sasquatch V collection from David W. Skinner. Options to customize the status bar, tear of handles and collections sorted by author and difficulty were added. Each level/collection now has a difficulty. Mouse repeat for redo/undo added. Option to reorder Levels/Collections. Fixed compilation problem for egcs 1.1.2
The biggest change is invisble for the user: The theme files are now in XML and the features of the theme engine are once again much improved. The themes were adjusted (where needed) to the new capabilities of the theme engine.
Additionally the new collection from David Holland called 'cantrip' has been added and Evgeniy Grigoriev's collection was updated.
Three options to hide gems or goals or fill outside fields with walls were added.... read more
This time the changes mainly concern the themes.
The theme engine was improved and now can handle
XSokoban type of themes and more (this mainly
concerns the walls). A KSokoban theme was provided by Jan Borsodi <firstname.lastname@example.org>. A XSokoban theme was added and the Space theme now uses the features of the improved theme code.
A bug when dragging the keeper was fixed and also when setting a former empty bookmark.
This is a maintainance release.
The first ten levels of Aymeric Du Peloux's Picoban collection were added (beware, they are very difficult).
Also an undo/redo-feature was added in the level editor, which also got an option to
simplify levels and to 'fill edges'.
The simplification feature is now also used to
find duplicate levels which are different only due to insignificant modifications.
It fixes some bugs (look in the changelog file for details).
And last and least a Tip of the day was added.
Just some bugfixes, updated levels from Grigoriev, a Tip of the day feature and updated documentation.
-Easysok now searches automatically for new or updated levels
- Added a new theme (Warehousekeeper)
- Added a feature to automatically hide the mouse cursor
EasySok 0.1 Beta2 is out!
It has a vastly improved solver, a new 'Space' theme and some minor enhacements. Of course, all bugs found are removed.
I have released EasySok 0.1 Beta 1 is out. So give it a try.
