I'm in Aurora Colorado, single and graduated with a degree in software engineering in May of Two Thousand and Seven! I am hoping to encounter experienced Perl - eclipse coders, especially in Colorado. As I am sure to need guidance, as I progress to the certification test in Perl and Selenium. These are my first two goals on my way back to gain full employment. Cheers, Kevin |

I have errors with my Maven projects which I've just checked out from SVN (as Maven projects). I have the error: "Project configuration is not up-to-date with pom.xml. Run Maven->Update Project or use Quick Fix." But the quick fix doesn't actually work - it suggests running Maven->Update Project which yields another error: An internal error occurred during: "Updating Maven Project". Version null of project facet wls.ejb does not exist. Surprisingly, maven does build with "success". Can anyone enlighten me as to what the cause of this issue is and it's possible resolution? Thanks & regards, Jarlath |

Following up references doesn't work in eclipse (and often Ocurrence matching doesn't either, but that's probably not related). The error dialog I get is: Problems opening an editor Reason: test-classes does not exist I've learned from stackoverflow that this can be caused by not importing the project as a Maven project from SVN. But when I try to do this using the subclipse m2e connector, I get another error: An internal error occurred during: "Importing Maven projects". Version null of project facet wls.ejb does not exist. And: Result of converting legacy maven projects Converted com.<company-brand>-4.2.27-SNAPSHOT Converted com.<company-brand>-4.2.10-SNAPSHOT Converted com.<company-brand>-ejbClient-4.2.10-SNAPSHOT Converted com.<company-brand>-ejb-4.2.27-SNAPSHOT Failed to convert com.<company-brand>-4.2.27-SNAPSHOT Any guidance is much appreciated as I'm finding Eclipse difficult to use without these features. Hi I just downloaded and installed EasyEclipse on Mac OS X 10.6 snow leopard on a MacBook 13", And it failes to start. Generates a 50 KB log file on failure, I've got Zend Studio for Eclipse, Eclipse PDT, Eclipse CDT, Eclipse Java and PoweredByPulse all running on my system with no conflicts and errors, I've also got XAMPP and LAMPP packages up and running. Stopped all of these but the same error. Regards AbiusX |

Hi. I am using EasyEclipse for PHP on both Windows XP at work and and linux at home. Can someone help me keep my configurations in synch between the two? I don't want to start just randomly copying files from one to the other in case I break something... Thanks Mark |

It seems that EasyEclipse cannot write to a directory "/Users/ selundgr/.easyeclipse-lamp-1.2.2.2", or cannot create that directory ? Could you try to create yourself, by going to Finder, go to you home directory, make sure that it's "/Users/selundgr", and there create a new directory that you will rename ".easyeclipse-lamp-1.2.2.2" ? Maybe it'll show what the problem is... François On May 21, 2008, at 11:31 AM, Scott Lundgren wrote: > I've just installed EE-LAMP-1.2.2.2 and it fails to start when > launched. I've just installed EE-LAMP-1.2.2.2 and it fails to start when launched. I'm using a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5.2. My user has admin privileges. Upon launch of the application the EE splash screen is displayed and then a dialogue box is shown with "An error has occurred see the log file...". The contents of the log entry are below. Hi all, I am new to this group hoping that my question belongs to it. I have an action implementing IPartListener to regsiter itself to newly opened editors. Works fine but each editor should control whether this action is enabled or not. The action is represented in the toolBar. The part listener tells me, when one of the allowed editors is being activated so that I may do a setEnabled(false|true) to set the state of the action. Unfortunately this has no effect, the button in the tool bar always remains active (clickable and active icon). Clicking it calls the run method no matter of the state. Adding a corresponding check to the run method shows me that the state of the action is either true or false. I cannot understand how to tell the toolBar to disable the button and would like to ask you for help since no documentation helped me out. thx, mirco |

M. Bashir: Adding the RCP delta was essential. Thanks again for the recommendation. There has been a some issue with the initial 1.3.0 build (a bug ) and a new drop was made a couple days agao (1.3.0.1), and then again yesterday (1.3.0.2) Note that we do not consider yet the 1.3 distros to be production grade yet. About the Visual Editor, that is a serious issue, but we cannot get ahead of the VE team there to include a working version. Yet there have been some folks who have produced 1.3 compatible builds. Hi again, I suggest to add full dependences with each distro, for example C/C++ distro must has GNU compiler, Python distro too need python package.. etc. I think this request is very important cuz easyeclipse project created for making eclipse easy, so i think if the user downloaded one package (all in one) it's very nice and beautiful. I tried to use C/C++ distro before and i suffered from downloading MinGW or CyGwin and from defining compiler paths, so i forced to leave easyeclipse C/C++ distro to use CDT4Windows <http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdt-windows>. I wish to get my request your satisfaction cuz it's vital option full whole users. note: For distro size i think it's not a problem for users, cuz if the user want to run C/C++ distro correctly, he/she needs to download full compiler which it has many options not needed in C/C++ development so you can add only needed packages of compiler to the distro. -- Best Regards تحياتي Muhammad Bashir Al-Noimi محمد بشير النعيمي My Blog مدونتي http://hali-sy.com/ |

Hi, I'm new with eays eclipse and I'm looking for a way to integrate spring + hibernate trough the IDE, is there a way or I need to do it manually. Thanks for your support. Alexandre |
