After years of relying on EasyCalc on my palms, I have bowed to pressures and moved to a blackberry bold 9700. I desperately miss EasyCalc's capability and interface. Are there any plans to port EasyCalc to BlackBerry?
I have noticed that most BB apps are written in Java and EasyCalc appears to be in C, which I imagine can be a significant barrier. I am not sufficiently versed in either to make that conversion myself.
Of course, what I would love to hear is it's already been done and I just haven't used the right search terms to find it.
Eagerly hopeful….

Sorry to disappoint you, but currently I am not aware of any plans to port EasyCalc to Java, but …
I myself have also moved from Palm to Android and am toying with the idea to port EasyCalc to Android.
As you might now Android apps uses Java source code, but they can also use parts in native C.
If there would be a Android port (without native code) then it would be easier to port that to BlackBerry.
