Easy Web Space Admin / News: Recent posts

although im not developing Easy Admin as it was only way to learn more php, it seams the project has remained active with downloads... i am therefore looking for a developer to continue its developement, take it over or simply update, fix and generally maintain my sumwhat n00bian code.

soo... I started the project to learn php.. the code isnt brilliant but it works... I did plan on doing something with it and making a "worthy" piece of code. But allas... I have lreant php and moved on to new things.. therefore i will no longer be having anything to do with easy admin ;)

I finished 1.1 but also added more stuff onto it - including encrypted passwords. This has been releases as 1.1.1. Enjoy.

Have no fear 1.1 is on it's way.

1.1 will include a major update :: Easy Admin will NO LONGER require register_globals to be set to on. The reason for this is that newer versions of PHP set it to off as default because it is seen as a security 'bug'. Please make sure to update to EA 1.1 when it comes. This is the only major update but there are a few small 'bugs' that have been fixed.

Easy Admin needs register_globals turned on to work this release. If you are unsure weather you have them turned on, try it. If you are unable to install or logon then they are probably turned off.

It will be fixed soon but if your host has them on you should notice no difference.

Easy Admin is now online! the website isn't sorry but you can now download easy admin. There is no version number but the releases will be named with the date released so you can easily find the newest download.
