Sure, I experienced it with:
7.0-BETA3 FreeBSD 7.0-BETA3 with
gcc version 4.2.1 20070719 AND
gcc version 4.2.3 20071024

and Jeff Rose encountered it with
gcc (GCC) 4.1.3 20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2)
