e2undel / News: Recent posts

This release adds large file support (LFS) in order to access file system images that are larger than 2 GByte. I hope that this does not break anything else.

If you are using an earlier version of e2undel, please evaluate version 0.82 (either on file system images or on "real" file systems), and send me a short note "works" or "differs from e2undel 0.81" (send mail to e2undel AT users DOT. sourceforge DOT. net). 0.8 wasn't as final as thought, it introduced a silly bug that sometimes prevented undeleting files by name. This is fixed now. My apologies to everyone who downloaded e2undel just to be disappointed that this feature did not work as described.

Additionally, within the next weeks, there will be another release that adds some comfort to the user interface.

Works with file system images now. Status changed to stable.
Version 0.8 is probably the last release. More and more people are upgrading to ext3, and e2undel does not work on ext3 file systems.
