the version 0.3.4 should recheck the syntax when a file is opened. Please give feedback if this still does not work correctly.
Would it be helpful to have a menu entry like Source>Validate Syntax ?

Is there any way to force EPIC to recheck its syntax checking with out editing the file to get it to recheck?
If not could it recheck on opening a document?
