#150 fractional routing above tabs
When using tabs feature by utilizing BREAKS layer, generated g-code contains several routing segments even for traces that reside above the actual tab. This makes e.g. LinuxCNC to slow down/accelerate at each segment joint, reducing processing speed and potentially leading to adverse effects of melting acrylic because of slow bit movement etc.
For example, if material thickness is 8 mm and tab height is only 1.5 mm and you choose 8 passes (1 mm each), you only need to account for tabs during the last two passes, first six should completely ignore presence of any tabs below and be processed without breaking the track into segments, full speed.
Hi Alexey, i fully understand what you are proposing and think that this would be a great adition to dxf2gcode. However, this will need a lot of changes in code and export. I will not have time to work on this soon, but if you are willing to try yourself or any other developer is out there who can support i will also try to support as good as i can ...
