I think it should not be a problem to use this tool with inches, nowhere in the code is a special reference to mm only. Therefore just try to use it with inches. Anyhow if you experience problems, it may help to scale the contour after import by the gain of mm to inches or other way around.(1 inch = 25.4mm)
