Hi, I am a Ph.D. student in chemical engineering at curtin University. My topic is the evaluation of scale formation of brine solution in the presence of ethylene glycol at different pH and different temperature. The brine solution will consist of Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, HCO3- and Cl- ions, while the ethylene glycol will be varied from 50 to 90% wt. My concern in how can calculate the saturation index of CaCO3 at different EG, Temp. and pH. I want a script that has all the database of these chemicals and can calculate the SI, activity coefficients and other thermodynamic parameters. I know that the activity coefficients will be the tricky part, but by using models such as Pitzer model can give us good and accurate results. I hope I can find that script or code to solve my problems.
