Hi, as I told yesterday ... a patch with changes I did in the last couple of month. Maybe they are usefull to someone... 1-2 have been already on Wolfgangs ToDo-List... ;-) Sorry that everything is in one diff-file (relative to the february snapshot) but I was to lazy to disentangle the different stuff to separate files. :-( The main change is, that the menu background images have (nearly) the correct aspect ratio now, if the source is an anamorphic 16:9 video! Also there is a -B/-b swich to supply an external picture used for ALL menu backgrounds. Make sure it's anamophic if your video is 16:9, because the above algorithm don't keeps the aspect ratio like for 4:3 videos (but fits the video into an 16:9 frame). Actually that's a workaround, since what I really wanted initially were REAL 16:9 menues (by using "-a 3" when producing background menues with mpeg2enc). Unfortunately that does not work with the current scheme used in dvdwizard, which draws the "normal" menus on the background and uses spumux only for "selected" and "highlight" menues (because "normal" has to much colors,... see the comment in mk_vmgm if someone wants to work at it). BTW, it's possible that some of the "-r | --aspectratio"-options, which I implemented for that method, are no more necesary now,... ahem... :-| Another minor change is the adaption of the checked ImageMagick Version number in various if-clauses througout the scripts, since both checks did NOT work with my version 6.2.5, so I increased the checked versions from 6.2.3&6.2.5 to 6.2.6! Of course I don't know if it's ok for 6.2.6 (or even if there is any with that number), but it is ok now at least up to 6.2.5! Also I replaced in mpgprobe the piped input to tcprobe by using the -i switch and the file name directly now, since I had videos which have not been recognized with the pipe. Don't now why, but this one works... ciao Ralph |
