Hello, it's me again. I make test DVDs in order to see how every aspects of DVDStyler works. There is one thing I never succeeded to use: subtitles.
I tried creating a ~/.spumux folder both in my user account's folder and in the DVDStyler folder containing the Arial font file in ttf format. I made sure that the .srt files were encoded in UTF-8 and made sure that in the software, they were encoded to ISO-8859-1, but to no avail.
Before, I only had the choice between Arial and... Not a single other font. Now, I can't even choose any font for the subtitles, leading to these errors everytime I want to see a preview in .iso mode on VLC:
"ERR: cannot match font name.
ERR: New_Face failed. Maybe the font path is wrong.
ERR: Please supply the text font file (arial)."
Please help! DVDStyler's the only free software I know have that much flexibility yet I can't figure out how to make these subtitles work!!!

I guess you're a Linux user so you could create vobsub/idx in Subtitle Edit an mux it with your video with MKVToolnix.
Cheers
