I'm trying to make an iso to burn onto a Blu-Ray, as I want HD video and do not want to have to split up the video across multiple discs (which I would have to do if I burned it onto a DVD), but I've been experiencing a few issues when attempting to do so.
1. Saving is a mess. Whenever I open the project file again, the menus have returned to 480p and I have to change it back to 1080p, then resize and reposition all of the text + buttons which have been jumbled up everywhere for some unknown reason.
2. When I do export as iso and am testing it in VLC before comitting to burning it, the buttons do not change colour when they're selected, even though I've specified that I want it to be white normally, black when hovered over, then white again when selected. The menus still work, but it makes it quite difficult to navigate when you can't see what you're selecting! I'm not sure if it's still like this once burned onto a disc and is being played in a Blu-Ray player, but I don't want to risk wasting a Blu-Ray to find out.
3. If I misplace a button/text, and press CTRL+Z to undo it, the entire program freezes for 5 seconds straight, then the whole project goes back to the jumbled mess it is every time I open it in the first place, which is especially annoying when I've developed this muscle memory to press CTRL+Z all the time in other programs and I use that command absent mindedly in DVDStyler, just to lose all of my progress once again.
Any bug fixes/workarounds would be much appreciated.

Don't go by VLC's results, it stinks at playing DVDstyler made discs. Try PowerDVD. Also, Styler does not produce Blu ray compatible folders. not to my knowledge, maybe I'm wrong. When you mount the ISO, what do you get as folders?
Uh, no, there's sadly no simularities between the folder structure (see attachments). I had no idea DVDs had a different structure than Blu-Rays, I thought they were just ISO files that could be burned onto any disc, DVDs just having less capacity, but I guess not. I'll look into PowerDVD when I have access to my computer. It's a shame because I actually quite like most of DVDStyler. The issues (aside from CTRL+Z being a mess) only showed up when I started editing the menu in 1080p. While I get that it's labelled "experimental" for a reason, SAVING not working is a pretty big issue that I feel should have been sorted out before being added IMO, or at least have that explained to you before you enable it. I worry that PowerDVD, like other DVD authoring software I've researched, will either be expensive/lock essential features behind a paywall, or have complicated UI, but I'll find that out soon.
I see. I've downloaded both, PowerDVD produced the same results as VLC for me, about to try Leawo Blu-ray Creator and see if I can make something that would work there.

The file structure in video_ts.png & root.png is for a DVD.
The structure is complety different for a Bluray
You can use DVDtoBD to change the structure.
There are several threads on this in the forum as well as why you should use SD menus.
Cheers

Look at this and compare.

PowerDVD is a player only, not authoring software. The software in the link I posted looks interesting.
